There are many opportunities to volunteer in the FSC Children’s Nursery

To work with children in our nursery or help with our classes (must be 18 years old, able to pass a background check, and participate in specialized training) You can also help out at our Family Events or complete a service project.

What does a FSC Children’s Nursery Volunteer do?

    • A FSC Children’s Nursery Volunteer works with staff to facilitate fun, educational and trauma-sensitive activities for the children we serve.  They assist the staff in creating a safe and positive environment for the children to thrive in.

How do I become a FSC Children’s Nursery Volunteer?

    • To be a volunteer, you need to:
      • Be 18 years or older.
      • Complete 3 hours of training
      • Commit to a minimum of 2 hours per week working in the Kid’s Place.
      • Pay for and pass a background check. ($39.75 for Utah Residents, $52.75 for out of state residents.)

Please complete the volunteer application available at the Family Support Center or request an application via email fscutah@gmail.com

We also love to have volunteers to work in our Clothing Closet sorting clothing and donations and filling orders for families.
